How many times in life do we find ourselves doing something that doesn’t make us happy? Recognising the fact that something does not make us happy is fine, actually this is the first step we can take towards something different that will make us feel better.
The real question is: do you recognise and accept that something does not make you happy, and maybe it is time to move on? Or do you just continue to do the same thing, hoping that things are going to get better?

Things are not going to get better, unless you DO something. Although, in some situations, the only thing you can do for the moment is changing your mindset, and that is enough.
You cannot turn a situation around instantly, therefore the best way to start the process is in your head. Think some positive thoughts! Use your mind, change your thoughts, see the positive aspects in your current situation and gather some ideas about how you would like the situation to turn around. The process will take you to the next logical step, and maybe even some unexpected changes will turn up in your life, like you are offered a better job or you get a good idea or help from someone you did not expect.
Just trust the process, keep in mind what you want, take the necessary steps and sooner or later you are out of that situation that no longer served you and your happiness. Remember, life is too short to live miserably, so it is better for you to take action right now if you aren’t happy where you are. Things are not going to change overnight, so be patient, use your mind first to get a clear picture about what you really want and do not give up!
