Love yourself!

Recently I have found that one of the key elements in getting what you want is how much you love yourself.

This discovery is not so new to me, as I remember using this ‘technique’ earlier in my life to lead myself to better things, so I will say it is a rediscovery, as I want to manifest some new experiences now. I shall not even call it a ‘technique’, loving yourself should be an ongoing attitude in life.

However, we tend to forget about it. We are more used to complaining or looking for negative things, problems and so on.  Sometimes we pick up the wrong attitudes from our environment.

The first question that probably comes up in everyone is if loving yourself means being selfish. No, loving yourself is NOT being selfish! If you love yourself, you become happier and more successful, and you can share your happiness with more people and you will also be able to help more people.

I grew up as an only child, and when I was playing with a friend and I didn’t want to share my toy with them, my parents always said I was selfish. Of course, I had not sisters or brothers to learn to share things with them. And maybe because of this, I grew up thinking that asking for things is being selfish. Even today, I am sometimes afraid to ask for a favour or a helping hand. It is also about how much you love yourself, and I need to learn to love myself even more!

You can only love someone else if you love yourself. You can only give to others what you already have.

Therefore, you have to love yourself in all possible ways. Don’t deny things from yourself, pamper yourself instead. Be your best friend! Be your own lover!

The importance of loving yourself

It is a wrong supposition that we will eventually get more if we are saving things for the future. Live each day as if it was your last day, but at the same time plan the future as if you lived forever!

I have seen people saving things all their life: like not buying those new shoes, because they are expensive, not buying that new gagdet, because it is expensive, not going on holidays, because they are expensive, etc. And guess where these people are now? Nowhere, exactly in the same place they were 30 years ago.

You have to follow your dreams, you have to go for the things you love if you want the success and happiness you are longing for! But start with the little things: treat yourself with some healthy food, go for a holiday, join that dance class you always wanted to try, go out with friends and have fun, buy that beautiful dress, buy a new perfume, buy some plants for your home, adopt a cat, whatever you want!

Do all the small things that make you happy in your daily life, and from that happy point, it will be easier to move up to the bigger things like manifesting your dream job or dream house!

If you love yourself, people will be more attracted to you, you will meet more and more nice people, you will meet people who will help you achieving your goals, and it goes on and on. You will have happier relationships, you will be happy where you are or you will end up in a location where you will find happiness. Your life will become easier and it will flow naturally!

Just don’t forget to love yourself!

Do you have a dream? Just let it in!

As soon as you have the thought of a dream, it already exists in physical form. It is already out there somewhere in the Universe. You just have to let it in. Is it that easy?

That’s what they say!

It sounds very simple,  but to manifest the dream in our life – or to let it in – might not be so easy.

With all our limiting beliefs and fears, we ourselves may be the biggest enemy in manifesting our own dreams. Supposing we manage to overcome most of these conditioned beliefs, we still have to work and make the necessary efforts to achieve that dream. It is not going to fall in our lap from the sky.

Whatever you want to achieve, whatever your dream is, just focus on the outcome!

It’s a difficult idea to talk about and understand. I am asking myself how can I let in something that I want so badly? […] Maybe I shouldn’t want it so badly.

If I want something bad, it means the desire is coming from ‘lack’ or ‘need’, therefore I will only get more lack. However, if the desire is coming from ‘love’, then letting in doesn’t even sound so difficult. Then letting in is easy, it is natural.

So, the first thing you want to do is check where your desires are coming from, and once you have examined them, work on the ones that are coming from love.

What are you creating now?

We all know that our thoughts and emotions have the greatest power in creating our future.

What you think about right now will create your future. Do you like what you are creating? If not, then you better think different thoughts.

Besides thoughts, I also added emotions, because when you deliberately want to change your thoughts, it is not enough to keep repeating positive thoughts, but you also need to feel good in the present moment. So, you need to think thoughts that make you happy right now. Not in the future, right now!

We heard about the power of our thoughts from Buddha, about the power of the Now from Eckhart Tolle, and various other teachings.

However, we often feel so desperate to change things in our now that this creates a general lethargy in all of us. In fact, we should not feel lethargic or depressed even if our current situation is the opposite of what we want, because that will just create more of what we don’t want.

What are you creating right now?

Recently, I discovered one more aspect that I would add to this whole topic of creation, the attractive power of our thoughts and the power of now. And this is the law of cause and effect.

This is a hard topic for us to understand and describe, as we often don’t see in advance what is leading where, and why we end up where we do, why we meet certain people, etc.

If you feel frustrated in your current situation, because things don’t seem to be improving despite all your efforts, it doesn’t mean that they are never going to improve. Just relax into the situation, do the best you can and try to enjoy the journey.

Maybe while you are in this ‘waiting’ period, you can start doing something creative that might have immense rewards in your future. We never know. Then, you will be glad that you did what you did that time of your life when you were ‘waiting’ for something.

Actually, we should never wait for the right time, do whatever you want to do right now to make it a perfect time, whatever makes you happy, whatever small steps you can do; and it is all going to add up to the manifestation of your DREAM!

End of a cycle?

As I am making new plans for my future these days, I feel a little weird, kind of empty, as if times were changing in my personal life.

There are things I used to do that I don’t feel like doing anymore. There are things that I was attached to, but now I feel like I can let them go.

I suppose a cycle in my life is coming to an end, and I need to get myself ready for a new Me.

I guess this doesn’t happen very often in a person’s life, and you may not feel the same thing at this time, but anyone can surely relate to it. But if you do feel something similar, you may check your astrological cycles or turn to numerology, and probably you’ll find the answer.

I would say during the past 5 years I achieved and experienced quite a few things that I was once dreaming about.

Now I feel like I need to dream a lot of new things, I need to plan, I need to plant new seeds; and I need to jump into the big dreams that I used to be afraid of. Now I am ready for more!

Actually, my previous blog post ‘Clarify your dreams’ was not written accidentally!

That’s what I am doing right now!

Clarify your dreams

When we are trying to achieve new goals or create new dreams in our life, we need to be aware why we want those things and whether we really want them the fastest way or we can patiently wait a little longer.

It is very easy to become jealous of others’ achievements today in this world, but we definitely should not follow others blindly. We need to be aware who we really are and what is important for us.

Instant manifestation usually doesn’t work, to manifest bigger dreams we need some time. Why? Maybe because we need to be ready to get them.

When a baby is learning to walk, he does not want to learn it overnight, it takes as much time as it takes. When you go to school, you don’t want to learn everything in one day, you know that it will take some time. You are not questioning whether you will get that degree or not, whether the Universe will grant it to you or not, but you know that it will take some efforts and time.

Similarly, when we decide to have a big dream, we need to clarify in ourselves what exactly we want to achieve and why. Will it make us happy? Is it something we are meant to do in life? How will it serve our growth?

When you are impatient and you want to go ahead of your dreams before you are ready, Life will give you a lesson to learn and it might be painful.

Take the time to clarify your dreams! You can do it by being grateful for what you already have and by imagining those positive things you want to experience in your future.

Make lists of things you are grateful for. This way, you will know what is really important for you in life. Therefore, you will not want something that is not really You.

Then make lists of things you want to see in your future. Imagine how you would like to live, what kind of work you want to do, how you want to feel, how you want to spend your time, etc.

Keep your attitude and emotions positive, make the necessary efforts; and you are going to live your dreams as soon as you are ready to get them! It is guaranteed!

You can feel at home anywhere

Can you? You certainly can, if you are following your dreams and living the life you are meant to live.

I was just wondering as I remembered the different places I have lived so far. They were not at all ‘perfect’ homes, but at that time at that stage of my life they provided me something that made me feel at home.

What makes you feel at home in a certain place? And how many ‘homes’ one should have in a lifetime?

You can feel at home where your heart is

It must be a place that serves your growth at that stage of your life; and probably we should have as many homes as many new dreams and goals we have in our life.

Personally, I cannot imagine living in the same place my whole life. If we are evolving creatures (and we are), then our homes should follow our evolving needs and personal growth.

But then comes fear, the belief in limitations; and for most people home means the same place for several decades, even if after some time they are not happy there. They are often afraid to change even if they get a good job offer somewhere else. I understand that for some people it is important to be near family and friends, but even if that place is just a little further away, fears are coming in: how they are going to move, will they be able to sell their home/find another one, etc.

I believe if you are meant to change your location and it is for something better and bigger, then the Universe will help you in all possible ways.
